Sofia started her dental career in 2008 as an Orthodontist Assistant and she has been with our office since 2013. Sofia’s passion for the dental field grew so much that she decided to further her education and obtained her A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College and graduated with Cum Laude honors. She is also a current student at George Mason University perusing her bachelor’s degree in Biology with a concentration in Biopsychology. Her priorities are always to make our patients feel comfortable and provide them with the best quality care possible. She is always promoting good oral health as well as the connection between systemic and oral health. In her spare time Sofia enjoys spending time with her family and she is an avid traveler, especially when she can visit her family in Guatemala. Sofia is looking forward to seeing you in your next dental care appointment.
